With his cousin Fabian doing tolerably well over in Europe, Spencer was feeling the need to make up for his illness-induced sub-par March time trials.  He did so by winning the Ice Breaker Crit in Eugene.

This photo is fascinating. Within a couple laps, rider #4 is dropped and on this same turn, rider #2 goes down. Not hard to guess what caused the crash after looking at his right pedal.

First of all.....It's Spencealara not Spencelleras... The picture looks like a pro tour guy in red & black with some cat. 5's hanging on for dear life....and of course the guy in 2nd crashed by pedaling through the corner....he was trying anything to stay on the man putting out the big watts....guy probably crashed on purpose because it was less painfull than staying on the Etna Brew dude....

Spencelleras is plural, referring to both the one in Oregon and the one in Northern Europe.
